Pre-Primary School (Infant to Pre-Nursery)

The first five years of a child plays an important role in shaping his/her life, be it at school, in the family and in community in general. Our early years programme is designed to provide the foundation for future academic, social and emotional well-being of every child.

The areas of learning are:

1. Communication and language

2. Physical development

3. Personal, social and emotional development

4. Literacy

5. Mathematics

6. Understanding the world

7. Expressive arts and design

We keep the learning play-based especially in the early years of childhood. Children acquire their first lessons of numeracy and literacy through active, playful activities. By the end of the early years, most children acquire basic reading and number skills.

 1. Children learn by absorbing information through daily interactions and experiences with family members, other kids, and the world.

2. Reading books, singing, playing word games increases their vocabulary while providing increased opportunities to develop listening skills.

3. Motor skills development is important throughout a child’s early life, because physical development is related to other development areas.

For example, if a child is able to crawl or walk (gross motor skills), s/he can more easily explore their physical environment, which affects cognitive development. This means that children in the early years learn by playing and exploring, being active, and through creative and critical thinking, which takes place both indoors and outside.

Primary School (Nursery to Grade V)

In the primary school, the focus is on learning the skills s/he needs for life.

Below given are a few of them:

– Communicating

– Thinking

– Problem-solving

– Moving and

– Being with other people

It includes the following as well:

– Observing things

– Listening to sounds

– Exploring

– Asking questions

– Experimenting with objects and materials like water, sand or dirt and doing things that stimulate the sense organs – touch, taste, smell, vision and hearing.

 Middle School (Grade 6 to 8)

The curriculum in middle school, is more subject-based and aims at building students ability to work independently and think critically.

At this stage the emphasis is on exposing students to opportunities in a wide range of subjects so that they can begin to form ideas of where their interests lie. In the Middle School (Class VI to VIII) emphasis lies on individual subjects as Science, Mathematics, Social Studies, English & other subjects

Secondary School (Grade 9 to 10)

In our secondary schools, the focus is on shaping the future based on subject preferences and skills gained. During this stage, the main objective is to hone the knowledge and skills gained at the Middle school.

Sr. Secondary School (Grade 11 to 12)

Our senior secondary school students are provided with an environment that focuses on academic excellence, rational thinking, innovative teaching methods, co and extra-curricular activities. The carefully designed curriculum enables the young learners to become responsible, confident and thoughtful leaders of the future.

All the senior secondary students in our schools undergo learning experiences that are interesting, innovative, creative and ‘fun’.
